Hi All, My F1 visa expires on May 31, 2007 and my OPT starts from May 21,2007 and goes until May 20, 2008. My employer recently filed for the H1B but not sure if I can make it or not. Here is my question , the paralegal of our office told me that if I cannot make it for H1B this year then I will be out of status after May 31, 2007...that's when my F1 visa expires. is that true?... I had thought that I can work legally until May 20, 2008 and stay another 60 days in legal status and join some school before my legal staus ends. Plz advise if I am wrong or the paralegal? Thank you in advance....
